Greg Epstein is originally from Salvador da Bahia, Brazil and moved to Tucson Arizona in 1997. After graduating from Amphitheater High School in 2006, Greg earned a BS in Computer Science from Boston College. During the next couple of years they moved back and forth between Brazil and Oakland CA working as a software developer and digital rights activist. After helping launch a startup company “LocalOn” through the Y-Combinator business incubator, Greg moved back to Tucson to begin a new career as a mathematics and computer science educator. Greg earned their M.Ed. from the University of Arizona in 2016.
